2404 Summit Rural Fire Station (RE-BID) #18529

Sealed bids for construction of the above captioned project will be received in the Town Hall, Summit, Mississippi, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids may also be submitted in person or electronically through www.coxarchplans.com.

Scope of Work: This project entails construction of a new rural fire station for the Town of Summit that is to be located on Horace Holmes Road adjacent to Southwest MS Community College.

Contract Documents & Bidding Portal: Bid documents are available via hard copy (paper) or digital copy. To preview plans online, bidders are required to register for a free online account at www.coxarchplans.com where they can view and then order Bid Documents in either printed or electronic format. All questions regarding website registration, online orders or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193.

Each Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and shall affix his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal.

The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Each Bidder must include with his proposal, a Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent of his bid, payable to Town of Summit, Mississippi, as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
