Bids for construction of the above captioned project will be received on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Pike County Board of Supervisors Board Room, in the Pike County Annex Building, Magnolia, Mississippi, and read aloud. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid “opening”, but attendance is not mandatory. Bids are to be submitted in either electronic format or in a sealed envelope as described in the “Instructions-to-Bidders” section of the Contract Documents. Architect – Cox Architecture, PA, P.O. Box 65, McComb, MS 39649.
PLANSETS. Bid Documents are being made available via hard copy or electronically in Adobe® pdf format. Documents can be viewed and ordered at www.coxarchplans.com. Interested bidders should log-in or register for a free account to view and order Bid Documents (Valid email address required). The cost of the bid documents is $50.00, non-refundable. Questions regarding online document orders and website registration shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (601) 336-6378.
SUBMITTAL OF BID PROPOSALS: Each bid must be submitted in either a sealed envelope or electronically transmitted in Adobe® pdf format. All bid proposals shall include fully executed bid form(s) and all additionally required documentation in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders” which are bound in the Project Manual and in accordance with the Bid Laws of the State of Mississippi. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMITTAL: Shall be submitted electronically through the Architect’s Bidding portal – www.coxarchplans.com.
SCOPE OF THE WORK: This project entails installation of a new mechanically attached roof system over the existing roof system as indicated in the contract documents and as required to meet the manufacturer’s requirements for roof warranty as specified.
