2005 Marion County Courthouse Window Repair & Restoration Re-Bid #10961

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS WINDOW REPAIR & RESTORATION MARION COUNTY COURTHOUSE ARCHITECT’S PROJECT #2005

Sealed bids will be received by the Marion County Board of Supervisors, (Owner) 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi until 2:00 o’clock P.M. (CST) on Friday, February 25, 2022, and publicly opened and read aloud for this construction project.

Scope of Work: Contractors shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, appropriate skills and all other necessary accessories for existing window repairs and restoration to the Marion County Courthouse located at 250 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi. Work includes repairs or replacement for the complete restoration of all existing exterior windows at the Courthouse as identified in the drawings and specifications. Work does not include existing doors.

Contract Documents & Bidding Portal: Bid documents are available via hard copy (paper) or digital copy. To preview plans, contractors are required to register for a free online account (utilizing a valid email address) at www.coxarchplans.com where they can view and then order Bid Documents in either printed or electronic format. Bid documents are non-refundable and may only be purchased through the website. Bidders who wish to submit bids electronically instead of a written bid, must do so through www.coxarchplans.com. No other electronically transmitted bid will be acceptable. All questions regarding website registration, online orders or electronic bidding shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (662) 407 0193.

Proposals shall be submitted in either a SEALED ENVELOPE or ELECTRONICALLY transmitted in Adobe PDF format. Each Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and shall affix his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal, or on the cover sheet required for electronically submitted digital bids. All bid proposals shall include fully executed bid form(s) and all additionally required documentation in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders” which are bound in the Project Manual and in accordance with the Bid Laws of the State of Mississippi. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Each Bidder must include with his proposal, a Bid Bond in an amount equal to five percent of his bid, payable to the Marion County Board of Supervisors, Columbia, Mississippi, as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount along with certificate of insurance naming the Owner as an additionally insured.
