Bids for construction of the above captioned project will be received on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Office of the President in the Administration Building, Southwest Mississippi Community College, 1156 College Dr., Summit, Mississippi, 39666, and read aloud. Bidders are welcome to attend the bid “opening”, but attendance is not mandatory. Bids are to be submitted in either electronic format or in a sealed envelope as described in the “Instructions to Bidders” section of the Contract Documents.

PLANSETS: Bid documents are being made available via hard copy or electronically in Adobe® pdf format. Documents can be viewed and ordered at www.coxarchplans.com. Paper plansets are available for $100 non-refundable. Interested bidders should log-in or register for a free account to view and order Bid Documents (Valid email address required). Questions regarding online document orders and website registration shall be directed to Plan House Printing at (601) 336-6378.

SUBMITTAL OF BID PROPOSALS: Each bid must be submitted in either a sealed envelope or electronically transmitted in Adobe® PDF format. All bid proposals shall include fully executed bid form(s) and all additionally required documentation in accordance with the “Instructions to Bidders” which are bound in the Project Manual and in accordance with the Bid Laws of the State of Mississippi. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.

SCOPE OF THE WORK: This project entails upgrading the electrical system and lighting of the Fine Arts building at Southwest MS Community College as indicated in the contract documents.
